A magical practitioner for over 35 years, Melissa has written numerous articles on the history of modern witchcraft, and the Golden Dawn. She runs the Gardnerian Witchcraft history website thewica.co.uk and is one of the key people behind Liminal Gate Press. She is also a trustee of Custodia Borealis and the Doreen Valiente Foundation
As a literary necromancer she loves chasing a story through history. She has written the definitive book 'Here Be Magick' looking at the mysterious Coven of Atho and wrote 'Light in Extension', the first book to look at the story of the Golden Dawns second temple, formed in Bradford in 1888.
She has an interest in the psychology of magic and wants to live long enough to see aliens land or a zombie apocalypse - either will do!
Hobbies:
Bouldering, astronomy, sci-fi, roaming around wildlife reserves at night and travelling around in a campervan called Artemis.
