Christine Jones
Christine is a writer and a poet, whose work explores dark places where human meets mystical. Drawing inspiration from nature, dreams, spirituality, and norse paganism. Her writing gives voice to the wounds we carry and the authentic self that emerges through healing.
A lifelong lover of storytelling, Christine is particularly fascinated by the old gods, animal spirits, ancestors and symbolism. Her poetry often blurs the boundaries between physical pain, and transforming emotion into a landscape populated by gods, ancestors and otherworldly guides.
Raven Girl is her poetry collection exploring survival, transformation, ancestral connection and healing. Through poetry, reflections and meditation it follows a journey through the darkness and back again.
When she isn't writing, Christine can usually be found reading, journalling, researching, working with tarot cards, meditating, disappearing into her imagination and stomping around nature talking to trees, insects and birds.
Hobbies:
Writing short stories and poetry, reading, delving into folklore and mythology, walking through graveyards, finding spooky places, surrounding herself in nature and anything involving norse/celtic gods.
